The 2020 Texas Fertility Center Baby Reunion has been postponed due to the coronavirus. Please check our Facebook page and web site for updates in late May.
At Texas Fertility Center, we’re positive thinkers. Nearly 40 years of providing advanced fertility care to the Austin, Round Rock and San Antonio communities, we have cause to feel confident: Since we opened our doors, nearly 20,000 babies have been born as a result of TFC care.
Every year, our fertility center invites families that have delivered their little miracles to attend the TFC Baby Reunion. What began in 1986 with fewer than 50 people has grown to include hundreds families at each annual event.
A Tradition is Born: The First TFC Baby Reunion
Dr. Thomas Vaughn, founder of Texas Fertility Center and the first board certified fertility specialist to bring advanced fertility therapy to Austin and Central Texas, attended the first cake-and-punch celebration at St. David’s Hospital IVF Lab.
Families used to pose for a group picture, including the fertility specialists, moms, dads, babies and toddlers.
Over the years, the location changed to accommodate the growing TFC family, and the group photo transitioned to individual family portraits.
What to Expect at the TFC Baby Reunion
The Texas Fertility Center event features fun-filled activities.
- Bounce houses
- Petting zoo
In 1984, the success rate for in vitro fertilization was less than 10 percent. Today, TFC boasts delivery rates as high as 60 percent per embryo transfer.
If you would like an invitation to next years reunion please report the birth of your baby. We will count you among the friends and families that started their legacies right here at our Austin fertility center.
