Advanced fertility treatment for everyone trying to conceive

Fertility treatment can range from medication-based options or surgery to advanced processes involving a highly skilled team of andrologists and embryologists. To help you achieve your goals using the most effective approach for you, our Central Texas reproductive endocrinologist offers every state-of-the-art treatment and technology available today.

Ovarian stimulation. For some women, ovulation problems or a low egg supply make it difficult to get pregnant naturally. Medications to prompt the development and release of eggs help many women overcome ovulation issues and achieve pregnancy cost-effectively.

IUI, or intrauterine insemination. This fertility treatment uses medication to prompt ovulation, and sperm are inserted directly into the uterus at exactly the right time. IUI can bypass many issues related to the cervix or a low sperm count, and is also a safe, front-line treatment for single women or same-sex female couples who want to become pregnant using donor sperm.

IVF, or in vitro fertilization. IVF is a highly effective, advanced treatment that can overcome serious infertility conditions, such as blocked fallopian tubes, low ovarian reserve and male factor infertility. With IVF, medication prompts the maturation of several eggs at once, which are retrieved in a quick, outpatient procedure. The eggs are fertilized in our partner IVF laboratory, often using a process called intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI. The resulting embryos’ development is carefully monitored over several days, and the “most likely to succeed” embryo is then transferred to the woman’s uterus at exactly the right time.

Donor eggs or sperm. For people who have a deficient supply of eggs or sperm, or for same-sex couples and hopeful single parents, we provide access to donor gametes for use in IUI or IVF. Our in-house donor egg program includes carefully screened donors from a variety of backgrounds, helping you find a match quickly when you’re ready to get started.

Gestational surrogacy. Texas Fertility Center works closely with the world’s most experienced surrogacy agency, the Center for Surrogate Parenting, or we are happy to partner with your agency of choice to make your dream of parenthood come true using a gestational carrier.

Fertility preservation for men and women. Eggs and sperm can be cryopreserved and stored indefinitely for future use in fertility treatments such as IUI and IVF. Egg freezing is a wise choice for women who know they want kids, but don’t yet have a partner, or who simply wish to delay parenthood. Both egg and sperm freezing are highly recommended for people who are undergoing medical procedures that can affect fertility, such as chemotherapy or radiation, or who are pursuing gender transition.

Fertility surgery. For some people, the key to overcoming infertility involves surgical intervention. Our experienced Central Texas reproductive endocrinologist is skilled in minimally invasive surgical procedures for female structural reproductive challenges, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, removal of fibroids and endometriosis lesions, and repair of septate uterus.

PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome. This common medical condition can disrupt ovulation, presenting challenges for women trying to conceive. Our experienced fertility specialist has extensive experience in treating PCOS to relieve bothersome symptoms and help women achieve pregnancy.
